This year I celebrated the big 60 and it all started with a dinner party with close friends. I hired Jackie to cater it and I was so pleased with everything. They arrived on time with the food in as hot box, and set it up for us. The food was so well seasoned and delicious. Everyone raved about it. I would post pics but we dug in before I had a chance. I will definitely hire Jackie's Kitchen Creations again. They did an amazing job.
Service: love how Jackie is responsive and arrived in time! They thought of everything- butter, syrup and serving utensils. Ambiance- the containers were labeled, and easy to identify Food- no you don't need to grab the salt and pepper- they seasoned everything well. Amazing! I was skeptical at first with the eggs.. after the first bite, it was soft and pillowy ... I believe they use REAL FRESHLY Cracked eggs! It doesn't have the plastic texture you would get from a cartoon egg. I prefer my potatoes a little bitty- but theirs were on the soft side. The flavor is on point! The fruit was so pretty and fresh. Definitely yes! Book them in your next event.
The BEST decision was to hire Jackie to cater for my daughter's 2nd birthday. From the reviews here, I was already confident that the food would turn out amazing, and she didn't fail!!! Food was DELICIOUS & literally all my guests complimented on it (lots of them wanted a plate to take home!) Will be considering her again for future events. Thanks so much again, Jackie!
I really enjoyed the food it was very authentic and absolutely delicious. Everything was on point and the food had the most upright taste. Her food has definitely touched my soul.
So far, I've had the chance to try two meals from JKC. We had the fried chicken plates- which included the mashed garlic potatoes and green beans (the green beans were super good, we could've eaten a whole pan)! Also, I had the chili bowl, served with honey cornbread - it was some of the best chili I've eaten, and went well with a side of rice and the cornbread! Jackie and the whole JKC team have done a great job adapting to COVID-19; they're taking the necessary precautions to ensure the Bay has a healthy and safe experience! I'm so grateful to have known about Jackie's dream to start this business and so proud to now see Jackie's Kitchen Creations serving the community; support this Black-owned business! P.S. I could seriously eat a bowl of that chili every week!!
Jackie's service and food will not disappoint you! I had the pleasure of trying out the red curry chicken and the butter chicken, and both entrees were packed with flavor and meat! When I tell they were packed, Jackie literally packed my curries to the brim! Every bite was filled with meat and a mouthful of delicious spices. I have no idea how she does it, but Jackie knows how to get the job done well! From service to delivery, Jackie was prompt in answering all my questions. My food was delivered to my house at no additional cost, and she was COVID-19 conscious throughout the entire process. I could not have asked for a better dining experience, and will definitely be ordering from here again in the future. Thank you for your food service during this unprecedented time, Jackie! Jackie's kitchen creations is so welcoming and inviting. Everyone is great. The young Black owned business woman food and desert is sooo delicious, I had order a BBQ combo with a 7up cake and I had nothing like it. I had a good amount of food on my plate and I ate it up so fast. (It was that good.) It's definitely worth the price, and worth returning for more. Between the amount of food that you received and menu choices. You won't be disappointed.
My family loves Jackieskitchen creations. The food and deserts are so delicious. We ordered the chili with all the side fixings, jalepeno corn bread, honey corn bread and the "sock it to me" cake. My husband loved every bite and wished he ordered 2x more. Packaging of the food was very clean and carefully put together. I hear they do party catering too and they deliver. I need to order the mac and cheese and fried chicken next time! Oh, and the portions are generous too!
Great food and so glad Jackie delivers to Oakland now! I ordered the mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes for Xmas and was very happy. Can't wait to see what's next.
